I was going to apply for Forensic Psychology at Portsmouth as a safe option incase I didn't get the grades.

I've been advised (by other students) NOT do to this because I could just go there through clearing if all fails.

But, I'm not sure if the course would have enough spaces if I went through clearing?

My predicted grades are A*AB, my other options are ABB, AAB, AAB and AAA.

Portsmouth = 120 points (roughly BBB I've been told?)

I would apply for Bath instead of Portsmouth if I were to change (AAA).

THANKS

TL;DR: should I apply for Bath (ambitious) instead of Portsmouth (safe)?

I've always been advised to have a back up plan You get to apply for 5 universities anyway so having one as a safety net isn't ever a problem.

but if you're confident in getting in then you don't have to consider it, but it's always nice to have a back up in case.

Your ABB choice may accept BBB on results day anyway. And if it doesn't yes there's always Clearing.

Apply to Bath. :yy:
