Good private accommodation for yr 1 in Newcastle

I'm hoping to study in Newcastle in September 2019 and I'm obviously looking around at accommodation. Due to various factors I've decided I want a studio. I enjoy my privacy however I don't want to miss out on making friends in the buildings or not having the proper "fresher experiences"

Any recommendations of places with decent sized studios that doesn't scrimp on the social aspects or is too far from the uni or other accommodations?

Hi marybayo,

Great to hear that you're thinking of coming to Newcastle :h:

We do have some studios within our student accommodation which might be a good option for you if you still want to be amongst other freshers in the same building?

Both our Park View Student Village (which just opened this September) and Kensington Terrace blocks have studios within them:

Park View also has an on-site common room which offers a lot of opportunity for socialising with others in the building and is only a short walk from campus. What are you hoping to study?

I'd reccomend fresh student living - I'm staying with them next year and the studio I've booked's huge
Hi,

Student Roost Newcastle have 3 sites in Newcastle.

St James Point and Newcastle 1 have private studios and shared flats, if you choose to stay in a studio you can still have a good social life in the accommodation as we have amazing communal spaces.

Our events are held weekly in the common room, we have movie nights in our cinema and often take our residents out for food and drinks to local bars in town.

Take a look on our website - https://www.studentroost.co.uk/locations/newcastle

You'll see we have an early bird offer with limited spaces, you could get £500* discount off your rent.

You could try The View, Verde or Newgate Court.
