Hi, do you know what the typical UKCAT score/cut off is for KCL's GEM course? I've got 712.5 with band 2 and not sure if it's high enough to apply

It might be. I'm not sure. King's are known for requesting at least mid-high 700s for ukcat. But I know someone who got an offer for the 2015 entry who got a ukcat score of 720, although the were also doing an MSc.

What are your educational stats?

Yeah I thought it'd be closer to 750 but couldnt find anything specific enough on the website, looking for another place to fill my 4th choice and was hoping for a GEM but think my score is too low.
Currently in my final year of a Biomedical Sciences degree, predicted a 1st with AAB in Biology, Chemistry and Maths A level and 9A* and 2A at GCSE.
Didn't do the GAMSAT so it rules out a couple of the courses but prepping for the BMAT for Leeds now!

It may be worth applying as you never know. I'm also doing the BMAT for Oxford. Where else are you applying?

Good luck with it! I'm thinking A101 Sheffield and A100 Newcastle and Leeds so far, doing my undergrad at Newcastle and quite like the city and uni as a whole. How about you?

hey, welcome! don't quote me, I would check with the admissions office first but I'm all but certain that if you apply for kcl A101 and you're unsuccessful if they like you enough, they'll offer you a place on the A100.

Hey! I think I‘ve read that too on their website, but I’m not sure if I want to gamble that they’ll like me enough to offer me the A100😂 have you submitted your application yet?

Will Kings GEM consider me with BSc (tons) Psychology and MSc Cognitive Neuroscience?

Are there any Psychology Graduates currently on GEM programme?

It says ‘biosciences degree’ in requirements, so am now unsure if I will be ok!

Thanks x

I don't think psychology counts as a bioscience in this case. I'd recommend emailing/calling to check
