Busking

Where are the best loactions to busk in Glasgow and Edinburgh? I am reluctant to busk in town as i am worried about seeing people i know.

Subway platforms, outside Buchanan galleries, queen street/ centeral station. Not sure about revenue produced but all have large footfall

I understood it is where can I busk in those cities which isn't in the main centre (aka town). But maybe that's just how I read it
