Do you find babies annoying?

I, like many people, commonly come across babies in pushchairs when out in public.

Seemingly unlike most people, I don't find them remotely cute and instead find them highly irritating. Why do people feel it is okay to have their kid shriek the bus, shopping centre, lifts and car park out? Have they never heard of one of these?

Granted, my own mother never gave me a pacifier due to concerns about it leading to my teeth sticking out, but I was at least given a blanket to gnaw away at to my hearts content.

I don't find babies or children adorable regardless of whether they're shrieking or not.
Yeh I hate them. They are the definition of a parasite
Yes I find them annoying. I suppose it's not their fault though.

I blame the parents.

They may find their child cute and be understanding, but let me tell you nobody else on the 23 bus into Manchester does.

Do you plan to have your own child one day?

I was on london underground today and there was a screaming baby/child but the parents interaction to try and stop it was very loving and they obviously cared a lot. For a lot of parents their little baby means everything to them...maybe you will feel different when/if you have your own child one day?

Take care

Considering we were all once babies, it's important to have some sort of empathy with them and their parents. It is a natural stage of life, and having strangers go out of their way to show their discomfort makes it tougher on the parent(s) and may affect on the child if this makes the parents more stressed. Constant crying can be irritating, but we have a choice if we want to live among other human beings in a civilisation.

The noise doesn't bother me, it's just that they look like the result of Winston Churchill mating with a King Edward spud.

If I were to have a child, of course I would care a great deal about it.

That doesn't mean I'd put myself in a position where I, as the guardian adult, allowed it to deliver the revelation to grandpa Joe riding at the back of the bus that he can, in fact, still hear if the noise is sufficient enough. I'd come equipped with a blanket and a pacifier to use only if required.
I see the point of the OP TBH, Another thing that annoys me is when people take a buggy on a fairly crowded tube, take the child out and put in on the seat. It’s a lack of consideration.

Someone somewhere has made that into a pornhub video.
Only annoying when they don't behave.

But other than that, I absolutely love them
Im actually currently doing my work placement in a preschool and I love it

As a northerner, I've thankfully not had enough experience with the tube to relate to this.
