My mum worked in a school in special measures. It all depends on the attitudes of the teachers there already in my opinion. Also depends how passionate and willing you are to put the effort in, as there will likely be greater workload to try and escape from the grading. I'm in Wales though so possibly slightly different systems here. That's just my opinion anyway.
Also worth checking why they are classed as inadequate-- the reason might give you your answer!

Are you an NQT? They often cannot appoint NQTs. Read the report and go and see the school. Sometimes it's a good place to teach because you get lots of support but, yes, there will be pressure [where isn't there though?] If you want to PM me the name of the school I will read the report and give you an hones viewpoint.
