Start of using contraception fail?😭
I am newly in a relationship, I’m 20 and have never used contraception before. Before I was on anything, we had unprotected sex and i took the morning after pill. I the got Gederal pill and have been taking it for 3 days. The nurse said to use condoms for 7 days before it works in my body.
However, I’d only used my new contraceptive pill once when we had sex and the condom broke. I went back to the pharmacy and took another different morning after pill. I was told 2 weeks until my regular contraceptive pill will work now?? Surely that can’t be right? I was so stressed at the time and I’m not sure who I can ask. I’m scared the morning after pill won’t work as I’ve used it twice in one cycle and I’m worried about not being able to have sex for 2 weeks as don’t want to use a condom in case it breaks again and morning after won’t work ☹️
Should I get a second opinion about the 2 week wait or is that normal for morning after pills and regular pill to do that?
