I've bought this book its quite useful!

but mainly try to go through as many scenarios as possible with my brother as he's a doctor and has done mmi interviewing when he was in uni
Oh wow, I got the same book for my other interviews, it’s soo good. Isn’t it so much better to practice with someone because then you can really practice forming your answers under pressure. Is this your first interview?

Oh rightt, I’ve had one at BSMS in December n we’re all just waiting for offers to be given out right now, it’s crazy. I also have one for Leicester on the 12th Feb. I still haven’t heard back from Nottingham yet so I don’t really know how to feel about that, still hopeful tho, I guess 😂

Hi,

Congrats to everyone who got an interview!
I also received one today for the 26th. This will be my first interview so I’m quite scared. Do any of you have any advice?

Go to medic portal and they have lots of practice questions and it helps to practice with someone but go through how to structure the questions first, it makes answering questions a lot easier and less daunting. Good luck

So I wanted to put down an experience I had at NCS as one of the things to solidify why decision for choosing Medicine but I don't really know what contact info I can put down for it.... Or should I just think of something else..?

Was it very medically related? If it was like a first aid course I wouldn’t title it as NCS and then maybe just put your NCS coordinator’s contact info.

No, it wasn’t very medical but it does relate. I emailed NCS and they said I need to give them proof that I’m a graduate so I’m sending them a picture of my NCS certificate.

Oh, I understand. I think that if you were to put down a different, more medical based work experience it would be better as on the 2019 entry requirements for the A104 course it specifies work experience in the health care profession which is people focused. Here is the link and if you scroll right to the bottom you’ll see it:

I hope this helped

what's your plans for getting there for people living far because it's a reallly long journey from where I live and I'd have to go the day before since it's so early
