Hey guys, so my problem is that there is a sixth form which I really, really like, and upon visiting the school, I really loved it. However, in order for me to get there it's a 45 min train journey plus a total of about 15 minutes by bus, totalling to an hour, which I think personally is totally fine. My parents however are adamant for me not to go there and think that commute is far too long, which I think is totally unreasonable, as in this day and age EVERYBODY commutes, and this commute also isn't that long.
I guess I have never commuted before, but I'll be 16 and if I want a good job in the future I'll have to commute etc etc. It would be great to get some more opinions on this and see what other people think, if I'm maybe being 'unreasonable'. Thanks
EDIT: Okay so guys, although I still don't mind the long commute, there is another station very close to me and near my younger sister's school, where the train journey is only 25 minutes literally all week. This is about a half of my current potential journey, and although I'm not opposed to the roughly 1 hour journey, I have a backup!!
