hey everyone ,

i have no clue what I’m doing so please bear with me! i guess you want some background information about me and my studies first so –

my choices –
- English language
- English literature
- maths
- combined science
- French
- food preparation and nutrition
- photography
- citizenship

my predicted grades –

most of my predicted grades are 7s and 8s but god knows how I’m supposed to achieve them ()

me –

I’m 15, have a saturday job at a local bakery, am the biggest fan of emma blackery and don’t really know what I’m doing with my life tbh

this is probably going to be a place where I document my stress of school and the many a breakdowns I have as a result because the stress and pressure of year eleven is mental! anyway I have no clue what this was and I have no idea what else this will entail but lets all start this adventure together jessxann x

Good luck! GCSE's are difficult but nothing feels better than the long summer you have after your exams! You can do it!

hey everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, to be honest I've been really busy and haven't had any time to write anything, and mocks start in a month so I'm spending every breathing moment quoting words and learning equations. I have my last ever parents evening tomorrow ah I'm kinda sad that they're going to be over but on a plus I've now applied for my dream college course! Its a catering and hospitality level 2 course for one year and then I should progress to the level three course after that before specialising in one area, I'm so happy and excited about it; I've always wanted to study in this sector. Now I need to back to my French tense revision - let me know if there's anything specific you want me to post about etc etc
hope fully I'll post soon

don't stress yourself too much over mocks, just try your best and don't burn out! your health is always priority.

oooh congrats on finding your dream college!

hello again,
so you all know how the other day I said I'd applied for my dream course at college? well turns out I can do it at sixth form instead so now I'm going to the open evening in two weeks! Because I need to think about the other a levels, I've been looking into criminology and English/photography so if anyone has any information about those then feel free to let me know what they're like. Parents evening went really well, I need to start working harder in all my lessons as I'm aware of how much I'm slacking but hopefully I can push myself to get those grades to get into the sixth form until next time

hey, right so apologies for the lack of posting - year 11 really is something else!! hope you're all good,
since i last posted i've had my first set of mocks, and my second lot is starting in the next week or so, so since January i've really been pushing myself and trying to revise every day, minimum of 30 minutes a day, and basically just spending my time either at work, school or doing revision!!
as for the mock results, i was disappointed in them (when i say i have high expectations put onto me i mean it!) because i did put effort into revising for them and although they were 5s/6s i was expected higher results. i've had my food practical exam, and i did reasonably well on it and i'm currently trying to fill my photography book with as much as possible prior to my exam in two weeks time!! safe to say i am not looking forward to 10 hours staring at a computer aha!
hopefully i'll start posting every weekend with a summary of how my weeks been and what i've been revising etc just so i can take a break from revision
off i go to revise again ahhh!!
