Bursaries/scholarships for uni

Hey, sorry if this sounds really dumb but when are you supposed to apply for bursaries for undergrad courses? I haven’t submitted my ucas application yet but i was wondering if ur meant to apply after offers or while ur waiting for offers? Thanks!

You apply for student loans in April next year. For lots of people this is before they know what university they will go to so you are supposed to make your best guess. It’s easy to swap the course and university later on.

When you apply for student loans there is an option to share your information with your universities (that your parents also need to tick). This is how you apply for most bursaries and scholarships - your university does it automatically.
