Coordinate Geometry I: Equation of Altitude and Median through Triangle

I've concluded that the answer for both Question 7 and 8 should be 5x + 4y=0 but the solutions page is stating that my answer would be correct if written for question 8 and the correct answer for question 7 is 5y + 4x = 0. This is another situation of student against book author conflict.
If the book is right, could you explain with working how this is possible.

Think the book is right. How do you find the median (question 7)?

The book is correct for Q7. See for yourself: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/lsuvtexnph
Their line is green, and yours is blue. Your line does not go through the midpoint of the hypotenuse.

Also, stop PM'ing me when you post a new question lol...

Please provide definitions of Altitude and Median then plot them on the desmos sheet. I think I have the correct solution in my head right now but reproducing this answer in writing in the future is conditional on being confident with the mathematical definitions.
Thanks.
