I have just completed a degree in the Biological Sciences with an Industrial Placement Year at Bournemouth Uni. I really enjoyed my degree, although it wasn't all plain sailing. I really enjoyed that my degree covered lots of different specialisms within the biological sciences and I, therefore, got to work alongside students from a wide variety of disciplines. I also really enjoyed my Industrial Placement Year during which I worked as a College Biology Technician. Career wise I have just secured a job as a Medical Laboratory Assistant. From my experience, the biology sector is not a very well paid area but I definitely would not want to be in any other sector. A Level wise I studied Biology, Chemistry, Music and General Studies to A2 and Mathematics to AS.
