personal statement!

i’m not sure how chatty PS can be, mine starts off as a sort of story? like it tells my college about how theatre excites me etc, but do i need an introduction? or can i go straight into what i like. personal opinions needed, thanks!

It's entirely up to you. Some start with intro and some go directly into their personal interests. As long as your PS flows nicely, it does not matter. One thing though, be explicit about your subject in the first paragraph because usually the admissions tutors do not specialise in your course.

Also, don't follow what others are doing just because you think your way is not the convention. If anything, try to make yourself stand out by structuring your PS different to what the others normally do, as long as it's sensible.
