Im doing AQA A Level Biology and was wondering whether I needed to know the explanations of the type of bonding between atoms. Such as ionic, covalent and hydrogen. We wrote them all down in lesson but I don’t see it on the spec although it is in the textbook with reference to the spec so I’m not sure. Does anyone know?

Not really just in the water topic hydrogen bonding and all 3of those bonds come up in protein structure, I guess maybe it could come up in applied questions. You don’t need to know too much u just need to know they exist in certain structures.

    Ok thanks
The spec is rather vague. Sorry I can’t offer a better explanation. I take chemistry so just in case I do have knowledge of bonding
