ok, you see the soft plastic bit in the loop? Push that down in the loop from the narrow end to the wider part, this should releast the plastic part.
Now slip the top of the stocking (usually a lacey bit) and put it between the loop and the plastic part, push the plastic part back into the wide part of the loop and push up into the narrow part to secure. The stocking should now be held in place.

A little tip: lengthen the suspender straps as far as possible to attach to stockings while you have them on and then tighten to comfort....this really helps when doing the back ones!!
I hope that made sense???

Wow, thanks so much! I managed it now, thanks!
I was trying to scrunch up the stocking and push it through the loop and it all just wasn't working  .

Thanks!

I didn't know there was another thread recently, sorry for making another one, I just paniked! Didn't want anyone knocking on the door: hey, are you reading to go out yet?!?! Hehe, and me just sitting there frustrated with my stockings.

Open the catch by pulling the plastic bit to the wide end. Cover the plastic bit with the stocking and still holding them together, push the plastic bit through the wide bit on the metal catch and pull to the narrow end until it goes no further.

Id recommend stockings from Primark over ones from La Senza anyday, they are exactly the same quality yet half the price!

thanks for the tip about primark! I am already ruining my lasenza ones just putting them on, so primark ones might come in handy!

Lol, yeah I posted a thread identical to this yesterday. Read that?

www.stockingshq.com I actually feel pain when I hear people talking about buying stockings and suspenders from Primark and La Senza - they are very poor quality. If you're into wearing stockings on a day to day basis you need to invest in a decent quality belt and decent stockings unless you want an embarrassing snapping incident. Just my two pence...

No.

Wouldn't recommend La Senza if you ever want to wear them as more than a novelty bedroom item though...Get a decent suspender belt with metal clasps else you haven't a hope in hell of getting stockings to stay up for long.

why am I the first to say "pics or gtfo"?

Disappointing, though the quagmire reference helps!
