Can you stretch to another £100? Right now £600 will get you a dual core i5 processor and 2GB 1050 for graphics, while £700 gets you a far superior combination of quad core i5 and 4GB 1050ti graphics, as well as an IPS display and an SSD. The jump in CPU and GPU alone is worth the extra expense, nevermind the improved display and storage.

I'm not that bothered about gaming(even though I mentioned fortnite xD) so definitely won't need a gpu like the 1050. Is this any good? https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/hp-14-intel-core-i5-laptop-128-gb-ssd-silver-10180959-pdt.html

Is the website you linked reliable and will the laptops last a while in terms of their performance as Medion is quite a small brand and I haven't heard much about their laptops

If you actually want to play Fortnite and you didn't just mention it for some inexplicable reason, you will need a GPU. The integrated graphics of 8th gen i5 processors, like the one in the laptop you've linked, barely scrape 30fps averages at minimum settings and 720p resolution. It's "playable" in only the most basic of senses, and god help you with playing an all multiplayer game where your frame rate drops into the teens midway through a gunfight.

If you really want an ultraportable, you can find something similar to the laptop you've linked with an MX150, which will allow you to play Fortnite at med settings and 1080p while still being thin and light.

They are reliable, I have bought two laptops from them in the past for family members. Medion are a solid brand, they just don't pursue high street placement like a lot of other brands and instead cater to well informed enthusiasts looking for value.
