Relient K - Santa Claus is Thumbing to Town
Disaster in the North Pole leads to Santa Claus unable to use his sleigh.
Tomboy - When I Saw Santa
A really cute story sung from the POV of a boy with two fathers.
Weird Al Yankovic - The Night Santa Went Crazy
It starts off so cute and sincere, then turns into complete chaos.
Saltatio Mortis - Willkommen in der Weihnachtszeit
A funny German song I heard for the first time last week yet have already managed to listen to a good 30 odd times ridiculing the commercialism of Christmas. If you don't understand the lyrics though you might just think it's a typical Christmas song.
KAT-TUN - White Xmas
Beautiful song, gorgeous video, and I once listened to it on repeat for a good 30hrs while writing a Christmas novella in December 2009. They were my favourite group for many years so now I guess a big part of why I love it is nostalgia. Actually to be honest most of these songs I've listened to every December for ten years or more so nostalgia factors into most of them.
However it's overplayed- as is Fairytale of New York and All I Want For Christmas Is You.
Not too overplayed yet very clever and catchy is Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) by The Darkness, the last really classic Christmas song.
My favourite classic before then is I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus by The Ronettes.
