Psychology in Education conversion

Hello everyone,
I am looking at applying for a psychology conversion MSc. Could anyone tell me whether a course in Psychology in Education would limit me should I wish to apply for clinical psychology afterwards? Or is the GBC accreditation plus experience what counts, regardless of whether the course is in educational psychology or more general?
I think the educational psychology slant sounds fascinating from an academic point of view, but don't want to limit my options!
Many thanks.
What kind of clinical psychology program are you interested in? If you wish to pursue a degree that's more practice-focused, educational psychology wouldn't help much. For the D.Clin.Psych., research and practice are both important. How does educational psychology relate to why you want to pursue postgraduate study in clinical psychology?
