I began in December for January prelims. Then had a break for February/March and started revising again in April time.

I think I started around this time for January prelims, but I also had a lot of unit assessments around this time for my Nat 5s, so that built into my prelim revision...For me it was better to start sooner, but doing less per week, knowing I had more time than I perhaps needed, as it meant there was some room for potentially being unwell or having unproductive days over the holidays. It's a difficult one to judge as everyone has different preferences, but it would be plenty for a lot of people to start at the beginning of December. Do what you think will work best for you, but if you're not sure, then starting sooner (so long as you're not going overboard with hours and hours) is probably a sensible option

I had my prelims in January, and began revising at the beginning of the Christmas holidays. I would say to start going all in with the revision now would most likely be overkill, and just leave you tired and unwilling to study by the time prelims come around - I think you'll find you actually have a lot more time than you expect
.
- side note - If you have any particular subject that struggle with you might find it helpful to begin your revision now, just to get on top of things (I wished I began revising maths earlier during prelims last year).
