Geography Interdependence Hot Deserts

How is interdependence shown in hot deserts?

I can’t think of any that affects both components, if that makes sense. For example, I get that humans need the soil for agricultural purposes in hot deserts, but why would the soil need the people ? Etc.

i wouldn't say it's humans in this case, think more about soil/ground and plants.
