Chemistry rate of reaction by gas collection graph

On a graph showing the rate of reaction between HCl and Mg, where H2 is given off. I have the volume of H2 produced on the Y axis and time on the X axis. I also have my data.

I have put the points on the graph, but one point is slightly anomalous.

should I connect the points with straight lines or make a rough curve to connect most of the points?

I am finding the initial rate.

Thanks

Exclude the anomalous result, and label it anomalous. Initial rate can be either straight line or curved, so I may need to see a photo of the graph to tell you what line to draw.

Hope this helps.
