A level subjects: maths, physics, chemistry
A level predicted grades: A* A* A
GCSE grades: 9A* 1A
Other uni choices: bristol mechanical, bristol design, leeds mechatronics (already have an offer) and ucl mechanical
Why DesEng? : i actually orginally applied for the mech. course at imperial but substituted my choice as i realised i probably wasn't gonna get in to mech as i don't have further maths and i realised im much more of a creative artistic person therefore design engineering would suit me better.

A level subjects: Maths, physics and Product DesignA level predicted grades: A*AAGCSE grades: 9A 1A*Other uni choices: Loughborough, Strathclyde, Brunel for PDE, Loughborough Sports TechnologyWhy DesEng: i was always knew that i wanted to do engineering but i didn't feel like there were many options for me as i felt like i preferred taking a product from start to finish and carry on developing a product rather than doing the theoretical side to engineering. i also feel like i am a lot more creative and have a good practical approach to my work and would like to do a degree that suited my style of work and played to my strengths. I have also received an interview date for the 28th of November

Maths, product design, computer science: A*A*A

A*s and As GCSE.

Other: LoughB, Nottingham, Liverpool, Aston (offers from Notts, Aston and Liv; interview at LoughB)

Nothing from imperial yet...

Anyone still waiting to hear about an interview? Getting worried, everyone seems to have one for the 28th!

(Btw I chose DesEng as I'm a very creative person, although slightly worried that DesEng is VERY engineering based? Anyone else got this impression or does it seem to have a fair amount of design in)

Same, probably we were at the same interview lol. They said if you've done really well or really bad you'll hear back in 2 weeks. If you did average you'll hear back in early 2019 when they compare to the rest of the candidates. So I just thought maybe I did average. Do keep me posted if you hear anything soon though.
