A level maths resitWatch
Finished a levels in the summer. Got an A in maths because I messed up in core 4 but got 99 in core 3 so only needed 81 UMS for the A*. Thinking about resitting as I’m on a gap year and want to keep my maths going. How much do you think 1 module would cost to resit and do you think it’s worth it. I don’t want to tell any of the unis that I am applying to this year that I am resitting, in case they make it part of my offer (I have A*AA at the moment, so probably high enough and want an unconditional, not conditional offer). Would they need to be notified that I am resitting? Could they for some reason care that I am resitting, just for myself, even tho it doesn’t make up part of the offer
You need to check to see if you obliged to disclose the fact you are sitting it, although if you have sent in your application before you know for sire you will resit I suppose that avoids it.
You will need to check on the exam board website. Im also assuming you can still resit a single module. It says 2019 on the government list so it seems ok. Seems to be under £20 fro AQA.
You also have to see if your school will let you resit there for free or you have to find a private exam centre. That could be another £60- £100.
