I’m confused about the differences between studying Scots love and English law.
I live in London. And am applying to mainly English universities. However I think I may apply to one or two Scottish universities (Edinburgh, Dundee or Glasgow). I visited Glasgow and Edinburgh and really liked it.
However, they do Scots law. I want to work in an English law firm and to qualify for this I think I need English Law.
I’m confused.
Even if I do English law I need to do an LPC after to be qualified to practice law.
After Scots law what would I have to do to be allowed to practice law in England?
Also which one would be quicker. Doing English Law or Scots law. As in how fast would I be qualified to practice law in England.
Or should I just not apply to any Scottish Universities.
Thanks for any help you can give
