It obviously depends on the student. If someone is predicted 8/9 for every subject then I don't see any harm in aiming for straight 9s.

9s are higher than A*s, so don't be disappointed or surprised if you don't achieve straight 9s. I'd say maybe aiming for straight 8s could be realistic, depending on ability, how much you revise etc.

Depends on student's ability. I wouldn't say it's too high if that's what one is capable of.
