i dont understand why people would want to go visit?

I left my primary school in yr 6 and didn't visit again until the end of yr12 cause I heard it was going to be knocked down, and I wanted one last look at it. It was very different to my day, and out of everyone who had taught me there, only my yr 2 teacher remained. I had a nice chat with her  *is nostalgic*

As Democracy said, the nostalgia-factor  See the corridoors that looked so big for how they really are :p:
My old primary school shut down whilst I was at secondary school, so the reunion was a bit of an odd affair! On the subject of secondary school though, I feel I'm very ungrateful for not showing my face for over a year, especially since I know that the teachers worked extremely hard.

My English Lit teacher, for example, managed to squeeze an A* out of me, knowing full well that I loathed the subject, and I haven't seen her since I left. Not results day, not prom, nothing.

I went back for year 12 work exp. It was good fun and very nostalgic. My old class teacher is now the head, so he was happy to accommodate me.

my primary school was demolished...so I can't walk those "hallowed hallways" anymore.
I'm planning on visiting my high school when I get back to Japan

However that said, I will never visit the school I went to for yr7-11 since it was horrible and I hated every minute of it. Well unless they're knocking it down and they want me to help out :p:

I think I'll visit my 6th form sometime next year though while I'm at uni, cause I really like it and I'll want to catch up with people...
Go before your paedophilia convictions go through. Don't make my mistake.

Secondary school was ****, I see no reason why I would ever go back.
i'd never want to go back, they both sucked balls.
I haven't been back to either since I left them.

I'd like to visit my old primary school sometime.
As for my secondary school, not for a long time.
I kind of went back to my primary school last summer.

All the teachers who were there when I was have retired or moved on and they moved into this old Victorian school house a few streets away the year before.

The building is now a community centre and was being used by a group of historians who are opening up the Franciscan Mon. across the road.

Was odd being in the staff room (which is now the office space for the regeneration team - I was in all the time) and the area that used to be the year 6 craft room (now the entrance hall and reception area - did two days on reception where I used to make saxton houses out of lollypop sticks lol) and other things like being allowed in the school kitchens and stuff.

It was all very strange. Not my school anymore but at least it is still standing for now and they haven't built houses on the huge football pitch lol.

In terms of secondary school, I've been back 4 times in 2 years. Once for a presentation evening and the other two because I am on a committee there who hold meetings in October and April.

=D

Meh, maybe you're right. Would be nice just to acknowlege her and say thanks though.
I visted my old primary school up until I was about 13. My little sister was still there so I always used to pop in.

Going back to my high school for the first time tomorrow. It's holding a reunion of anyone who went there for the past 50 years. Not visited it since I left, I'd find that a bit weird.
I went back. Just walked in and asked my old graphics teacher if I could have some acrylic sheeting.
I've been to 6 schools, and still go back to two of them frequently to meet up with friends and go shopping afterwards. I never let anyone other than friends know, just turned up.
