Yeah, the wordings of unit 8 is very confusing

D1: Evaluate how far the use of strategies and monitoring the health status of the population helps public health policy to meet its aims in reducing the factors that influence public health, with reference to a specific demographic area

Let's split this into two sections

So if you're doing Manchester for example, how does the strategies you have talk about helped public health policies (such as prohibiting tobacco indoors or banning junk foods) helps to reduce factors of smoking (for example, banning junk foods on children's TV adverts will help to reduce childhood obesity and other chronic health issues (a factor) and banning smoking indoor will reduce the likelihood of cancer, second hand smoking and asthma (a factor)

Then do the same for monitoring health status
