University course choice - please help

I want to study media production or post production. In the future I wish to freelance edit music videos, short films and maybe even magazine covers. What courses/ unis outside of London would you recommend? Thanks!

What kind of university are you looking for? You should think about the distance, whether you want to commute or live in halls, and what kind of grades you have/are going to get.

As a second year media student, I can personally recommend Sheffield Hallam's BA (Hons) Film and Media Production based off of your criteria. Here is a link: https://www.shu.ac.uk/courses/digital-media/ba-honours-film-and-media-production/full-time
Just to highlight, their modules include: Film Writing, Digital Production Skills, Creative Project Development And Realisation and Screenwriting to name a few.

Digital Media Production at Sheffield Hallam is another similar course, using a lot of industry standard systems to create online/digital media.
