For the 2018 GCSE grade boundary for biology, to get a 7, you only need to get about 57% percent of the total mark.

I got 60% for my biology, it seems low and I’m only in year 8? Can someone explain to me please? 60% seems poorly lows and I usually do very well in my other subjects (Maths, English....) but for this particular test I got appalling. I’m honestly so scared because this might be shown on parent’s evening and I don’t know what to do. Can somebody help me on what to do please?😢😫😨

If you are in Year 8 (12-13years old) you shouldn’t be thinking about GCSE Grade boundaries, there’s no need. 60% is still a decent score, if you are working hard and are trying your best to succeed, that’s all you need between Years 7-9. Biology typically has lower boundaries at A-Level and GCSE, but as I said, that should be in the very back of your mind currently.

You’re in year 8 they’re no need to be worrying about you’re GCSE at the moment, just enjoy year 8 while you can
