Do I look good in shorts and a hoodie?

So I have noticed over the past 2-3 years ago that the shorts and hoodie look has become quite fashionable or at least fairly popular in the uk, especially among younger people such as college students and kids etc and also quite a lot of grown men as well (around say 20-40). I think the look of tends to look quite good myself most of the time anyway, though I think it can look a bit sloppy if not done well.

Anyway, I have tried the look out and sometimes I think it looks cute but sometimes I think it looks bad but I’m not sure whether I suit this look or whether I should just stick to jeans, trackie-bottoms etc.

Obviously it's getting a bit chilly for shorts now (should have really posted this in spring or summer but oh well) but this has been on my mind for some time and it would certainly be a practical outfit for the spring and summer months.*

The weather has been fairly mild recently but I guess people would find it a bit weird if I was to suddenly start wearing shorts in November. So I'll probably just stick to either jeans or joggers until the spring.

One thing I will mention is that I have noticed that when my girlfriend is scrolling through pictures on my phone, she nearly always likes the ones where I'm wearing shorts and she says something like "that's cute".

I even asked her a few days ago "do you prefer me to wear jeans or shorts"? and she said shorts.*

Anyway, I have took a few pictures and videos of myself so that you can judge. Do you think I can pull this off?

Please note I am a very self-conscious person so this is why I am seeking advice.

Thanks very much for reading.

True but there’s a student at my college who always wears shorts and a hoodie 365 days a year.
It's a bit weird tbh, I know that style is quite common in the USA, but here it's a bit out of place IMO.
Wear what you want, it's your life so don't care about what others think

I wear shorts all year round, too

Well, provided I'm not totally freezing my tits off.
Looks fine but not what I personally find attractive. You and your girlfriend seem to like the look and that's the important thing.

Well I have seem lots of people in the UK wearing that style, esspecially during the warmer months. And I have been to the South West, the North East, as well as various seaside/tourist places around the country. It’s also quite a popular style here in the North West where I live as well.

I think as a nation we are generally becoming more American (hoodies were invented in America after all) and I have noticed it has become mainstream fashion for everyone to wear hoodies and jeans and joggers etc, 10-15 years ago anyone who wore that would usually be stereotyped as a chav or a troublemaker etc in this country.
It may surprise you to learn that outsize t-shirts and cargo shorts do not become those with less muscle-mass than an Ethiopian's gonad.

Lol I live near the Pennines, the weather can change quite rapidly. It can be nice and sunny one minute, chucking it down the next.

Also what’s wrong with my legs??

It's unusual for someone who is 'very self-conscious' to post quite so many photographs and videos of themselves.

Nah couldn't get away with it in work but like 75% of the time when I'm home.
