Do I Like or Not

I have a friend who is a boy and people around me such as other friends and family say I act as if I like him. I thought about it and I don't know if I like him or not. How can a person tell when they like someone or not? I have never been a relationship before so I have no idea.

Do you go out of your way to be with or near him?
Would you be sad if he didnt talk to you or you found out he had a gf?
Have you let him onto your social media?
Are you thinking about him a lot?

Oh. Thanks. I don't know how to approach this anymore. We've been friends for 3 years and besties for 2. This would be awarkward sinces he's two years younger as well. Ill leave it, thanks for the advice
