I got 3.98s by rearranging the formula for acceleration to make time the the subject.

v-u/t=accelaration.

so 0.05 is final velocity (speed) which represents v.
10 is initial velocity (speed) which represents u.
-0.4 is (de)accelerartion as it is in ms-2.
to get time we =
v-u/acceleration= time.

Change is 0.05 cm/s - 10cm/s
so -9.95

-9.95 divided by -0.4 equals 3.98

Therefore 4.0

I accidentally did 9.95x0.4 instead of 9.95/0.4

The real answer is 24.875 so 25.
Everything I said is correct I just got the wrong value for the answer on my calculator because I multiplied instead of divided like I said.

Yh we all make mistakes...you can also use common sense as well to double check as 4 second from aorta to the capillaries won't make too much sense.
