Ok so here are my predicted:
Mathematics-A
Geography-A
Computer Science-C

I applied for Nottingham Mechanical Engineering which requires AAB with A in maths and preferably physics.

I got an offer but its saying I need Physics. I'm confused on what to do. Should I call up admissions? What if i lose my offer if the uni realise I don't take physics??

Yeah when I applied to uni my offer was AAA with a preferred A in Maths. But I didn't even take Maths and they had to know that lol.

It says AAB with A in Maths and A-Level in Physics. Science practical must be passed

Then call them and remind them you aren't doing Physics. Follow up any conversation with an email summarising what was discussed (so get the name, job title, and email of anyone you speak to).

What does it matter? You can't meet the offer you've been given so you need to speak to them. Just call them - it will be fine.

Likelihood is no.

"Three A levels including A in maths and preferably physics (including a pass in the practical element), excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking, Citizenship Studies, CIE Global Perspectives and Research, CIE Thinking Skills"

They know what A levels you are taking and have stated preferably, if they have made it conditional for you to have physics then they have made a mistake - it happens.

Can you copy and paste verbatim what they said in the letter (just the relevant bit)

You're not going to be satisfied with any response here, so it's pointless persisting with your question. When you speak to Nottingham, your most likely outcomes will be one of following:
1. They will adjust the term 'preferably' (GOOD)
2. Or adjust the required entry grades (POSSIBLY TRICKY) or
3. Retract the offer (DULL AND COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED).

Honestly, it is likely a mistake.

However, if they meant it - you would not have applied to their course if they had done it correctly, so you will need to contact UCAS and see about getting another option. This is poor from the uni, but it happens.
