Schools sending challenging pupils home

Is it ok for schools to send home challenging children? Does it allow for those children who are not misbehaving to focus? Or does it let down children who are having a difficult time?

This isn’t anything new. A lot of schools who can’t handle challenging children will ‘suggest’ to parents that they should home educate their children, regardless of whether the parents want to or are in a position to do so.
I met many such parents when I was home educating who had been pressurised by schools to deregister their children and home educate them.

Although it does allow the rest of the kids who arent misbehaving to concentrate and do the work, its kind of letting down the kids who are sent home. They should at least try to work with them and sort things out. Sending kids home/excluding them etc should be a last resort.
