In the fiscal policy section, the specification says:
"distinguish between a budget deficit and government debt"
and
"explain what is meant by the national debt"

I was under the impression that national & government debt are the same thing; the amount of debt the government accumulate over time. The specification is confusing me

budget deficit -> is when government spending > tax revenue or taxation etcgovernment debt -> accumulation of all budget deficits.and naitional debt is just all of the borrowings and deficits? I am not sure if im right but thats my intake hope this helped!
