Grants for Returning Students

So, last year was my first year studying full time with Open University and I received the course grant, adult dependent's grant and parent's learning allowance. I applied for the same this year but so far only the course grant has been confirmed, even though I applied in August for everything. I have called many times and they say they are waiting for a decision from the Welsh Assembly on whether or not the parent's learning allowance and adult dependent's grant can be given to returning Open University students. The wait is becoming frustrating now and I just wanted to check that other people have been told the same really?

They have now confirmed you can have it and are working through all applications, thats what they posted on facebook anyway
