Epq help

I would really like to do an EPQ on astronomy or anything space related but I am not sure what I could specialise in.

Any ideas?
I know this is the kind of thing that a moderator/etc would do, but, I just have to do it.

Sorry you haven't had any replies.

Either ways, try using the "Search" option in the top right of the page for "Physics EPQ"

You'll get plenty of different ideas.

If you're thinking Astronomy, I'd say:

- FRB's, Dyson Spheres, Astrobiology & SETI/Alien Life, Boyajians Star

- Dark Matter, Dark Energy, Plausibility of theories behind them, Relevance to the future and termination of the Universe. Multiverse theory and that kind of thing plays in nicely here, alongside the possibilities of other Universes alongside ours and how they may impact ours, i.e. stretching space, etc.

- Asteroids, Viability of Asteroid Mining, Future implications economically/socially/etc, considering Humanity as a multi planetary race, that kind of thing might be interesting too. You can discuss robotics, automation, survivability in space, Astrobiology with reference to our solar system, that kind of thing. C. Cockell has a nice introductory book to the Astrobiology aspect of this, and if you search Google Scholar you'll find dozens if not hundreds of references to this topic. Same goes for the rest.

That's just a few of the common ones I can think of from the top of my head that might have a lot of potential for your own interpretation/etc. Since all three are basically open baskets with recent developments, they'd all be pretty cool.
