Student loan death

If you die with loans from the student loans company, does it have to be repaid with money out of your estate which is meant for your kids or does it just get cancelled?

Hi there,

If a student was to pass away before the repayment of their loan, we would request evidence of this and write off the remaining balance. The link here provides guidance on this.
