What do we think of this?

Should they be banned, like some are arguing for? Or should be police have every tool in their armoury.

This comes as front line City of London Police announced their officers would use the hoods which is at odds with the Met.

Considering inner cities are like scenes from a zombie apocalypse the spit hoods are the least of our worries.

Of course they should be used where necessary. They should be part of every coppers PPE.
By ,where necessary, I mean if a person threatened to spit or actually spat.
It's assault.
Just as threats to hit or actually hit a copper will mean cuffs being used.
I don't see the fuss.
