I'm not allowed to go to the toilet between lessons

Hey our teachers in my school have imposed a restriction of students going to the toilet during class time, however I am a sufferer of IBS I spoke with the teachers regarding my problems and etc, and they're still restricting my access to the toilet. Each lesson lasts for 100 minutes and I'm not given the oppurtunity to go in between classes when I'm extremely desperate. What can I do?

This is unacceptable, especially when you have a medical condition that the school is aware of.

Have you spoken to your head of year, pastoral team? If they don't do anything then you should really speak to the headmaster and bring your parents in.

Get your parents to speak to the school on your behalf that will change their mind

My head of year doesn't allow it, and my headteacher won't either. I spoke with both of them they said they imposed a rule to deny access to it and only during break or lunch you'll be allowed to go.

Have you gotten your parents in? Maybe get a doctor's note stating the need for unrestricted access to the toilet facilities for medical reasons
I know how you feel as I suffer from IBD and the school treated me the like that. I spoke to the teachers and they still didn’t let me go. I spoke to the head of year and she didn’t do anything (she was an idiot). I got my parents involved and they tried speaking to my teachers but they wouldn’t have any of it. They still treated me the same as anyone else.

Speak to your head of year, they might be more understanding (I left school 6 years ago). And if they don’t do anything, get a doctors note. When there’s proof, they can’t argue with that

Yes I've got my parents in everyone but they won't listen, they're arrogant idiots who don't see that people may have problems instead all what my head of year does is just shout at students so loud and embarasses them in class if they asked him.
Piss yourself in class to teach them a lesson. Make sure you piss all over the teacher too
Go to the governers.
Hey the governor's and your parents involved. Get a doctor's note about your IBS. I know how IBS is as I have it so get your parents on your side then just get up and walk out class when you need it. As long as your parents will fight in your corner you're good. I've had bad IBS attacks and I know that you can't wait at all.
Get up and walk out to go to the toilet when you need to even if the teachers protest.

Go to people higher than the headteacher and get notes from your doctor or specialists too. This is vile behaviour from the school.
I think it is unacceptable to be honest. I also suffer IBS and when you need to go you need to go.

Check that info out, and if applicable to your situation, and no adequate response from Head / Governors, then a Solicitors Letter sent under the direction of your parents should get their due focus.

I wish I had known about this back in my time, I got a detention and also the teachers embarrassed me in front of the class when I was bursting for the toilet
This is discrimination. Your parents need to email the head of year and pastoral care. They should copy in the head teacher and chair of governors as well.

This is totally unreasonable and unacceptable.

If you have a medical condition then you probably come under the disability laws and as such you are protected. Get your parents to see the Head Master/Mistress.

As for anyone else then sorry it is a rule pretty much across the board. There are a lot of jobs where you can't have toilet breaks until you shift ends or lunch break - ie food cashiers have to sit there for 4 hours without a break. I've worked in retail and one shop wouldn't allow toilet breaks unless we were officially on a break etc.
