Any ideas how to do this question??

How do you find the concentration in this???

Deionised water 350ml
Concentrated Sulphuric acid 3.5ml
Copper (II) sulphate crystals 6.2g
Deionised water topped up to 500ml

How do you calculate the concentrations of the 2 solutions.

Full details preferred. short answers help too.
I'm assuming
Solution 1 = Deionised water 350ml + Concentrated Sulphuric acid 3.5ml

Solution 2 = Copper (II) sulphate crystals 6.2g + Deionised water topped up to 500ml

for the first one, find the number of moles of sulfuric acid. this is found in 353.5 ml. hence find the concentration

for the second one, calculate the numer of moles of copper (ii) sulfate. this is found in 500 ml. hence find the concentration

But what would be the calulation be ?

Moles / conc X volume

this right?

number of moles = concentration x volume

So i have

Sodium hydroxide = 0.1 divided by 10cm3 =0.01 conc
So from that
conc= 0.01 X 500 = 5 moles.
Make any sense???
No doesn't make any sense

where did you get sodium hydroxide from

also units are wrong

Calculate the concentrations of the 2 solutions.

Deionised water 350ml
Concentrated Sulphuric acid 3.5ml
Copper (II) sulphate crystals 6.2g
Deionised water topped up to 500ml

Sodium hydroxide is the alkali in this titration
(This is a titration)

Equipment used was: burette, clamp stand, conical flask, acid and base and the indicator.

unknown concentration of sulphuric acid with a volume of 25cm3
Universal indicator was thenyl thylene

i give up with science
Poor moles... placed in sulphuric acid.
