When we leave the EU and Article 13 (Which I am sure all of you heard what the law involves) is passed will it affect the UK too? We are no longer part of the EU so how can it affect us?

I always knew the EU was bad news hence my support for leave, it makes me feel so privileged to live in a country where everyone had some common sense of seeing where things were going with the EU.
If this law is passed it will be disaster for the internet, this site included.

I'm from the UK myself and I heard about Art13 ages ago; I'm pretty sure that we are technically still in the EU (since TMay hasn't made a final deal in regards to Brexit). I'm hoping this directive doesn't pass but at this point, we have to wait until Jan 2019 as that date is for the final plenary vote (I think)
