Leyton Sixth Form College

Does anyone go to Leyton College? What is the atmosphere there like?

Their exam results is good but some people have told me lots of bad/rude students go there. Is it true??? :confused:

Another thing that puts me off is the area. People say that it is kinda dangerous. Would anyone be able to inform me better on this?

I've heard its quite nice there actually.
One of my mates goes, and loves it.

I think there are a few 'rude' students, but this is mainly due to Leyton / Leytonstone as an area, as there are lots of gangs etc etc.
My friend says the majority of pupils are extremely hardworking and its definately better than alot of 6th form colleges.

I don't think its dangerous at all. Urban myth! I'd be quite happy to go there...

Out of intrest what school do you go to? And what area do you live in at the moment?

I'm from South Woodford so I kinda know the area.

My cousin goes there and she's not liking it that much. I don't know why, or anything else except that she doesn't. So this isn't very helpful, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I live in South Tottenham and I go to Gladesmore.

I applied to Sir George Monoux, Woodhouse, City & Islington and Leyton. I have had my interview for the other three and have been offered conditional places.

I have my interview at Leyton on Friday this week so I wanted to know what the atmosphere there is like.

I've applied for Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Music.
