Are these GCSE results good enough for Oxford/Cambridge?

I have got these GCSE grades.

Maths - 9
Biology - 9
Chemistry - 9
Physics - 8
English Lang. - 9
English Lit. - 8
Computer Science - 9
D&T - 9
French - 8
RS - 9
History - 9

I have heard you need straight 9s so I'm worried my 8 9s and 3 8s isn't good enough. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Those are amazing grades and certainly surpass the general Oxbridge expectations  There's no need to worry about those GCSEs

You heard wrong. Oxbridge regards both 8 and 9 as equally equivalent to A* so you can't do any better.

And GCSEs are just one aspect of a successful application anyway, and depending on the course, may not be that important.
