Hi, so I want to become a further education teacher in Health and Social care. I have been all over the internet looking for what specific qualifications I need. So far I have an A* in cache Health and social care from college. Looking online, it seems like I should go to university for social care and health studies (BA Hons) and then do a further year in MA Education? Is this correct, can someone please please please please help me!!!

Are you sure it would be social care and health studies? Quite specialised and it would still be an option if you had done it at A level or for your BTEC?
Try and get into the best uni you can.

Have a read of these.

Yes you would do whatever the main degree is and then the PGCE for FE students.

because you have your lev 3 in health and social you can do any social science degree afaik (psychology/ sociology/ health and social, social work/ families degrees). but yeah you'd do a degree in health & social care for example and then do 1 year PGCE course for 14+ further education

so you'd be qualified after 4 years!

but in honesty many FE teachers don't decide to do it when they're young, it's usually something to move into so I wouldn't stress immensely over the qualifications (you've got your lev 3 in health and social and it doesn't really matter what PGCE you do as they all give you QTS)
