Yes I know about the link between sunbed use and skin cancers just to clarify.
It's just that every time I go on vacation I burn and get horrible heat rash even with 50 spf sunscreen. I went to Australia and had been on the sunbed at home before we left, but only for 4 minutes at a time then once at 6 minutes and I burned but not as badly and no heat rash present, so it got me thinking; what's going to increase my chances of cancer, burning badly every time even with sunscreen (and I also wear a hat and shorts and t shirt) or getting a base tan before on the sunbed but still wear sunscreen etc and not have heat rash and reduce chances of a bad burn?
I travel a lot so I want to know what is the safest of these risky options
