What themes are you studying for paper 1 section b? What periods for paper 2? What textbook/resources are used to deliver the course? How does one find, select and use critical texts?

Sorry for the late reply, the introduction books by Taschen are good for a general summary and critical quotes. There are some great online resources on ArtHistoryforSchools you can look them up easily, they have made up questions compiled by history of art teachers around the UK for each paper.

Could I have a list of the specialised art books? What advice were you given by your teacher? I'm assuming you are studying at a private sixth form college where the teaching is good and the staff are quite knowledgeable.

My school switched from Pre-U to Edexcel A Level this year so I suppose my year is like the guinea pigs for testing. My depth study is the Renaissance as well and my teacher is still familiarising herself with the syllabus and marking. It's a pretty new qualification, so there aren't any published resources on revision or exam technique, which I find extremely frustrating.

Hi there! I'd love some help with critical texts, rather urgently if you can. I'm with an awful distance learning college and with exams cancelled I'm really trying to keep my grades up! Could I throw some questions at you?
