A car with 5 tyres ( four road tyres and a spare ) travelled 30,000 km. All 5 tyres were used equally. How many kilometres were did each tyre get?
Don't you just divide 30,000 by five?

No. Unless you only used one tyre for each mile travelled.

Good question, OP. I like it

The spare tire didn't do sh*t, don't give it any of the credit
So four tyres used at a time. One tyre not used at any given time. They all sit out an equal amount of time. So each tyre rests for one fifth of 30 000 km

So you rode 6k km on 4 tyres and then 6k km on 1 tyre and then carried the car for 18k km?
So each tyre used for 24 000 km. Correct?

Yes. Divide by 5 then times by 4, because you have to use 4 tyres for each segment.
yay
U don 't use all 5 tyres at a same time.
