The crucifixion or the resurrection and why. If you're not a Christian just choose one and try and explain why you chose it. Appreciate it
It's for R.E. homework any opinion matters. Thanks

When I was religious (traditional Christianity denomination), I would have believed the crucifixion was more important because there was a lot of emphasis on how Christ went through (enduring) suffering as any normal human could. More emphasis than the resurrection. - I think because in traditional Christianity suffering is just a big theme and the crucifixion is the highest point of a story about suffering. Also, I think for these reasons, when you're in a more traditional Christian denomination Church it's likely you can look in any direction and see a figure of a dead/dying man on a cross (IE the symbol of the crucifixion - the suffering).

In modern denominations there is probably more emphasis on the resurrection. (However, this is not at all to say the resurrection is not important in traditional Christianity - the crucifixion and resurrection are inseparable).

However, it has been a while since I was religious myself and am not anymore so I could be wrong on the actual teaching of which is more important
